In order to reach even larger spectrum of viewers artist often accepts commissions from manufactures to create new designs. That implies certain adaptations of sculpture for industrial production, which allow reducing a cost of manufacturing without sacrificing quality of design. That is requiring an extensive knowledge of material and manufacturing process.

Since 2001 Igor Mintch also operates his own ceramic mold company – IMDceramics. His company supplying molds (of Igor’s commercial designs) for ceramic and glass manufactures around the world.
